Images of Apple’s 2019 flagship have appeared on the web. Several tipstones confirm the authenticity of the images.
Apple’s upcoming flagship has not yet received its official name. Nevertheless, the first pictures of the phone have appeared. These are pictures of the back of the phone, but it can also be interesting enough.
If the pictures are true, as several credible tipstones confirm, then Apple’s upcoming camera design resembles one we’ve seen in one of last year’s huge phones. Ice Universe says in a post on Twitter that the images are genuine. He also says that it is “an unfortunate news”, so you can interpret that statement yourself.
We would rather just say that it is of course still very early in the development of the phone. So there will obviously be some design changes when we get to the launch. Apple always launches this year’s iPhone (s) in September, giving them about nine months to fix any errors.
When Huawei launched their flagship Mate 20 Pro last year, the camera island was “inspired by the headlights of a racing car”. The upcoming iPhone has a similar camera island, here you have just chosen to place the camera lenses offset. Whether it does any good for aesthetics must be up to the individual to assess. Apple has also apparently chosen to add a microphone to the camera island, which I have not yet realized the purpose of. It should be certain that Apple will again launch three phones this year. A successor to the iPhone Xr and of course two flagship models like XS and XS Max. Which of the models is in the picture, we cannot know for sure for good reasons. Most people believe, however, that the pictures come from the upcoming top model.
In addition to several sources confirming the images’ integrity, there are also other information that suggests that these images should be good enough. Bloomberg has previously stated that Apple will include long-distance 3D ToF technology in the 2019 models, which increases the credibility of the new images.
Whether the images are actually to be trusted, we have to wait until September. Before that, Apple can now make many changes
