OnePlus is now partnering with e-sports organization Fnatic.
The new collaboration was presented at the Legends in Action Live event, which was held in Berlin yesterday. Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, is very excited about the new collaboration:
“Gaming has always been great for OnePlus, and cooperation with Fnatic has from the beginning been completely natural to us, as we are two like-minded organizations that always go after moving to the borders. We are very excited that this will be our first global sponsorship in e-sports, “
he says. There is no doubt that e-sport is growing in popularity, but Fnatic would like to see even more viewers. The final match of the World Cup of the League of Legends in November 2018, between Fnatic and Invictus Gaming, became the most viewed ever with more than 200 million viewers worldwide.
Sam Mathews, founder and chairman of Fnatic, says about the new collaboration:
“It’s a great moment in Fnatic’s history. I’ve known Carl Pei for a long time, and we’ve always had the same mantra about challenging the standards for more – whether It is success with our team, our products or with our brands. With OnePlus we have found the perfect partner to carry Fnatic into a new era, “
