We’d love to have it, the EU would like it and now Apple might also: USB-C in iPhones might be on its way.
We’ve already seen USB-C implemented in Apple’s latest iPad Pro. Here, however, there are some limitations where not all equipment works at connection. Despite this, it is great to see and it offers a number of advantages.
The reasonably credible blog, Mac Otakara, has a source claiming that Apple is now planning on USB-C in iPhones as well. Apple was supposed to have come up with a reference design, but we shouldn’t expect to see it in this year’s iPhones, but only next year.
Do you think Apple finally bites the sour apple and drops the Lightning connector? Voice at the bottom of the article.
The iPod may resume
Along with the rumor of USB-C in iPhones, Mac Otakara writes that the iPod also returns. Mac Otakara has gotten information on this year’s CES, which supports the rumor of an upcoming iPod that should be aimed at runners and athletes.
